Base Service

Advanced Disposal is helping make Gwinnett County cleaner and greener. Our base service includes once a week garbage collection service, once a week recycling service, once a week bulk item service (household furniture) and once a week white goods service (appliances). All garbage must be contained in the provided 95 gallon rolling cart. Please note that customer-owned garbage carts will not be collected.

Recycling should be placed in the provided 18 gallon bin.

Bulk item and white goods collection are by request only.

    • Gwinnett County residents can elect to have curbside yard waste service for a fee. Payment is due in advance either semi-annually or annually. You can elect to pay $60, which includes once a week yard waste pick up for six months of service. You can elect to pay $120, which includes once a week yard waste pick up for one year of service.

      We ask that you follow these guidelines for your yard waste:

      • Please limit yard waste to no more than 3 cubic yards.
      • Tree trimmings should not exceed 4 inches in diameter or 3 feet in length.
      • Yard trimmings such as shrubs or bushes should not weigh more than 50 pounds per bundle.
      • Leaves and grass clippings must be placed in sturdy paper bags.
      • Please no stumps or large root balls.

    • Should your garbage service needs require more than one 95 gallon cart, Advanced Disposal will gladly provide an additional 95 gallon cart for garbage service for a fee. Payment is due in advance on a quarterly basis. The fee is $36 per quarter and a one time $20 cart delivery charge. Please note that this applies to Homeowner Association Clubhouses for swim and tennis communities.
    • Should your recycling service needs require more than one 18 gallon recycling bin, Advanced Disposal will gladly provide an additional 18 gallon recycling bin for a one time delivery charge of $15. Please note that this applies to Homeowner Association Clubhouses for swim and tennis communities.
    • Bulk waste items are discarded household items that are larger than 3 feet in dimension and will not fit into the 95 gallon cart. Collection of bulk waste is included in your curbside collection without an additional fee, but you must request a pick up of a bulk item either by submitting the request form or calling (678) 684-1493.

      Items include: mattresses, box springs, sofas, chairs and other similar household items.

      Items do not include any construction demolition debris. Advanced Disposal is happy to provide roll-off containers for this type of waste. Please call (770) 775-1001 for more information on roll-off containers.

    • White goods are household appliances such as refrigerators, stoves, washers, dryers, water heaters and other large enameled appliances. Collection of white goods is included in your curbside collection without an additional fee, but you must request a pick up of a white good either by submitting the request form or calling (678) 684-1493.

      Before placing a refrigerator at your curb for pick up, please remove the doors. There must also be a tag or sticker on the refrigerator showing that the CFCs (or chlorofluorocarbon) have been removed by a certified technician.
