CORPORATE HUMAN RESOURCES INTERN
General Summary:
Advanced Disposal seeks an intern to assist the Corporate Human Resources department in day-to-day activities. The internship will provide the intern with valuable, real-world experience. Requirements:
Interns must be actively enrolled in a university management, human resources or business program and have a minimum of junior standing. The ideal candidate is an organized, motivated, multi-tasking team player with an educational focus on Human Resources and/or Benefits/Payroll Management. Familiarity with Microsoft Excel is required. Interns will work 20 hours per week in an office environment.
Duties and Responsibilities Include but are not Limited to:
- Maintain Affirmative Action Plan database
- Monitor background check submission/results
- Maintain & update contact database for all vendors
- Assist the Vice President and/or Corporate Human Resources Manager with special projects including employee record retention.
- Place and monitor job postings with the various State agencies and manage internet postings.
- Maintain and monitor internal Dependent Audit.
- Conduct research on key HR related issues and other topics as needed
- Assist with administrative duties including fax processing, stuffing envelopes and other administration functions as assigned
- Perform miscellaneous office duties as needed

Reports to the Vice President of Corporate Human Resources
