At Advanced Disposal, we’re proud of the communities we live in and service. And we want to help keep them as clean, healthy and beautiful as possible. That’s why we proudly support a variety of programs and organizations involved with cleaning up the environment, recycling, waste education, and community enhancement and beautification.
Some of these exceptional programs include:
- Bag Ladies program — a group of friendly, attractive, uniformed ladies working on behalf of Advanced Disposal to promote recycling and reduce litter and waste. Using their signature blue bags, they collect recyclables at sporting events, community festivals and other venues where there are crowds of people drinking from plastic bottles and/or aluminum cans that can be recycled.
- Welcome All Athletic Association — Advanced Disposal is the leading contributor to this organization by providing uniforms for underprivileged participants.
- Advanced Disposal contributes in-kind resources in the form of staff, equipment and disposal services for environmental cleanup projects in all Georgia areas.
- Fun in the Field — a free springtime carnival, held at the Eagle Point Landfill, which includes a recycling creativity contest between elementary schools.
- Partners in Schools — our employees read to students at local elementary schools.
- Lights-On Reading Program — we make annual donations of books to this program in rural Georgia.
- E-recycling campaign — support recycling efforts by creating special event drop-off programs.
- Monthly donations — we regularly provide containers, event boxes or disposal to support local cleanup efforts.
- Earth Day programs — we sponsor beautification projects throughout the Southeast to promote a clean and healthy environment.
- Wolf Creek Landfill annual Fall Festival
- Crawfish Festival — Biloxi, MS
