In observance of the holiday, there will be no service on Monday, May 29. Customers normally serviced on Monday will be collected on Tuesday, May 30. The yard waste program is optional and at an additional cost. Please fill out the information below and an Advanced Disposal Customer Care representative will contact you at the number provided to confirm service start and arrange payment.

You're A Municipal Customer If...
your local government selected your solid waste provider for you. Please select your city/town and county to view your garbage guidelines and holiday schedule.
 
You're A Subscription Customer If...

Guidelines for Curbside Garbage Service

Curbside garbage service

  • Pickup once per week.
  • Garbage must be placed curbside the night before collection day, or prior to 6 a.m. on the scheduled day of collection.
  • Place all garbage in provided cart. Place cart at least 3 feet away from any other object such as mailbox, car, other cart, etc.
  • There may be an additional charge for extra bags or items. 
  • Items NOT accepted for pickup include: hazardous waste.

Curbside recycling service

  • Pickup once per week.
  • Recyclables must be placed curbside the night before, or prior to 6 a.m. on the scheduled day of collection.
  • Items accepted for pickup include: Bi-metal and aluminum cans, plastics #1- #7, corrugated cardboard, newsprint and magazines, clear, green and brown container glass.

Bulk waste service

  • Bulk waste pickup is once per week.  
  • Bulk waste must be placed curbside the night before, or prior to 6 a.m. on the scheduled day of collection.
  • There may be an additional charge for bulk pick ups.  Please contact your location for more information.
  • Items NOT accepted for pickup include: NO ELECTRONICS. Freon items will not be taken unless the refrigerant has been removed by a certified technician and properly stickered as such. 
  • Tires are not accepted.

For example, if Christmas Day is Tuesday and your normal service day is Wednesday, you will be serviced on Thursday. Customers who are normally serviced on Friday of that week will be serviced on Saturday. 

 
You're A Commercial Customer If...

Guidelines for Commercial Garbage Service

All Containers

Containers must not be blocked and trucks must have access to provide service. 

Please make sure waste is contained, within safe capacity levels and not overflowing. Drivers may not be able to service overloaded containers. 

Please do not place any hazardous materials in container. This includes: any waste solid or liquid waste material resulting from the manufacturing or use of pesticides, highly flammable or explosive wastes, caustic wastes, toxic wastes, and any other material that the Health Authority determines to be a likely hazard to the public health, safety or environment. 

Containers must be placed and remain on a hard, level surface and must be secure. 

The placement of enclosures and containers can have a direct effect on safety.  An improperly placed enclosure or container may lead to accident, injury, or property damage.  Check with your Advanced Disposal representative to ensure safe placement.

Additional Guidelines for Roll-off Containers

Containers may not be loaded above the top of the container and the weight must be evenly distributed. 

Thirty (30) yard containers may not be used for concrete, dirt, stumps, bricks or any other heavy materials. 

Twenty (20) yard containers must be used for very heavy loads and may be filled only half full.  

Preferred maximum weight of 20,000 lbs. varies by state regulations.

This facility accepts household hazardous waste from residents of Anoka, Hennepin, Ramsey and Washington counties.  Bring identification, such as a driver’s license, as proof of residency.
