Advanced Disposal Acquires Third Polk County Company, Growing its Commercial Services Business
Advanced Disposal Services, Inc., a regional integrated environmental services company, has completed the acquisition of certain assets of The Dumpster Company, LLC. This is Advanced Disposal’s third acquisition in Polk County in five months, further expanding the Florida-headquartered company’s commercial services footprint in Central Florida.
The Dumpster Company provides solid waste collection services to businesses in Polk County. The asset purchase includes one commercial frontload truck and three commercial roll-off trucks, as well as a total of four routes including customer contracts and containers.
The operations staff, including four drivers and one office person, will join the Advanced Disposal – Winter Haven team. In addition to this acquisition in Polk County, Advanced Disposal acquired Trash Taxi in March 2010 and Accurate Waste Systems in June 2010.
“Just as we did with the other two acquisitions, we provide the additional financial capital, safety and training resources, as well as a commitment to a cleaner, greener business community in Central Florida,” said Advanced Disposal’s Florida Area President Dave Lavender. “Our goal is to build upon The Dumpster Company’s great reputation and carry on the strong tradition of quality service. We also welcome the new employees to the Advanced Disposal team.”
