Advanced Disposal Services, Inc., a regional integrated environmental services company, has completed the acquisition of certain assets of Countywide Waste Disposal, further expanding the Jacksonville-headquartered company’s footprint in Macclenny and surrounding Baker County.

The purchase of Countywide Waste Disposal includes 500 residential customers and 55 commercial customers, including contracts and containers. Advanced Disposal will service those customers from the company’s current Stateline hauling facility in Callahan.

“Countywide Waste Disposal presented a great tuck-in opportunity to strengthen the density and efficiencies of our frontload and residential collection operations in Baker County,” said Advanced Disposal’s Regional Vice President Dave Lavender. “Customers can be assured they will continue to receive the most responsive and environmentally responsible solid waste services possible.”
