Advanced Disposal Acquires Curly Waste Disposal, Expanding Footprint in Putnam County and Adding Transfer Station
Advanced Disposal Services, Inc., a regional integrated environmental services company, has completed the acquisition of certain assets of Curly’s Waste Disposal, LLC, further expanding the Jacksonville-headquartered company’s footprint throughout Georgia, in particular Putnam and surrounding counties.
With the purchase of Curly’s Waste Disposal, Advanced Disposal will assume ownership of a transfer station, located at 170 Imperial Mill Rd. in Eatonton. This transfer station is in a strategic location for Advanced Disposal’s current operations providing hauling synergies and additional landfill volumes. The acquisition also includes more than 150 commercial customers, including contracts and containers and four roll-off trucks. Advanced Disposal will service those customers from the company’s current Middle Georgia hauling facility in Milledgeville.
“Curly Waste Disposal presented a great opportunity to strengthen the density and efficiencies of our roll-off collection operations in Putnam County while providing additional volume to our landfills,” said Advanced Disposal’s Regional Vice President Charlie Gray. “Customers can be assured that they will continue to receive the same outstanding customer service they have grown accustomed to over the last 12 years.”
