Advanced Disposal, an integrated environmental services company, announced the acquisition of the collection assets of Winsor Disposal located in Kane, Pa.  The official close date was June 28.  This marks the first East region acquisition for Advanced Disposal since the combination of Veolia Environmental Services Solid Waste and Interstate Waste Services last fall.

This asset purchase transaction of three trucks, containers and customer contracts expands the company’s reach within the Pennsylvania marketplace, in particular northwest Pennsylvania.  The trucks and equipment will be relocated to Advanced Disposal’s existing Warren County hauling operations located at 32870 Route 6, Pittsfield, PA.  Non-recycled waste materials will be disposed of at the company’s Greentree Landfill located 635 Toby Road, Kersey, PA.

“The East region of Advanced Disposal, Pennsylvania in particular, has experienced significant change as three companies merged into the Advanced Disposal of today” stated East Region Vice President Dave Lavender.  “The operational and financial progress that has been made has been significant thanks to the hard work and dedication of our most trusted asset – our employees.  It is their diligence and commitment to quality that is now allowing Advanced Disposal to grow and expand in Pennsylvania.  We are very excited about adding the new staff and assets from Winsor Disposal to the Advanced Disposal team.  Our goal is to meet and exceed the quality service and commitment to customer care that the Winsor Disposal customers have come to expect.”
