Advanced Disposal, an integrated environmental services company, is pleased to announce the promotion of Ed Yahner to east region marketing manager. Yahner will lead the region by working with district managers and local municipal marketing managers to ensure continued growth in the company’s governmental business sector through request for proposals and privatization efforts.
“Ed brings more than 26 years experience to his new role,” said Advanced Disposal Regional Vice President Dave Lavender. “The governments we service are some of our most important customers, and I know they are in good hands with Ed at the helm.”
Yahner most recently served as the general manager for Advanced Disposal’s Northwestern and Central Pennsylvania operations. He joined Advanced Disposal with the acquisition of Veolia Environmental Services Solid Waste in November.
He is active in his community and serves as Brockway School District Board director, president - board of directors of the DuBois Regional Medical Center, board member for Brookville Hospital; and board member and past board president for Goodwill Industries of North Central Pennsylvania. Yahner has degrees in accounting and business administration from the University of Pittsburgh.
