Advanced Disposal, an integrated environmental services company, is pleased to announce the hiring of John Spegal as vice president business development. Spegal will be responsible for mergers, acquisitions and strategic growth initiatives for the company.
“John has a proven track record for delivering positive results,” said Advanced Disposal President Richard Burke. “His level of understanding of the operational side of our business, coupled with his financial acumen and acquisition experience, make him a valuable part of our leadership team.”
In his last post, Spegal spent seven years with AIR-serv Group LLC as regional vice president for the private equity group and was responsible for seven branch offices, five regional sales managers, and 80 technicians servicing 20,000 machines. Prior to that he was at Allied Waste Industries/Browning Ferris Industries for 10 years serving in various operations roles throughout the south and east regions. Spegal holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of South Carolina in Columbia, S.C.
