Advanced Disposal, an integrated environmental services company, is pleased to announce Charlie Laws as general manager for the company’s Kentucky operations. In his new position, he will be responsible for managing the company’s three hauling locations in Lexington, Morehead and Irvine as well as two landfills located in Irvine and Morehead.

“Charlie’s experience, knowledge and genuine commitment to safety make him a great addition to our team,” said Advanced Disposal Region Vice President Dave Lavender. “We look forward to growing Advanced Disposal’s business throughout the greater Kentucky area under his leadership.”

Laws brings 36 years of experience in the solid waste industry. He joins Advanced Disposal from Waste Management, where he spent the last 16 years. Laws holds a bachelor’s degree from Auburn University.
