ANN ARBOR, Mich.
Advanced Disposal, an integrated environmental services company, is pleased to announce Kelly Rooney as it’s new district manager for Michigan and Northern Indiana hauling companies and landfill operations. She will oversee the company’s six hauling locations, two landfills, five transfer stations and one materials recycling facility.
“Kelly has more than two decades of waste management experience and has an impressive track record in multiple roles across collection, landfill and recycling operations. She has excelled in her role as general manager, and we look forward to Kelly continuing the great momentum she has already built with the Michigan/Northern Indiana teams,” commented Dave Lavender, region vice president for Advanced Disposal.
Rooney has been with Advanced Disposal for three years following the acquisition of Veolia Environmental Services Solid Waste North America, serving most recently as general manager and prior as corporate director - recycling. While at Veolia she served as area manager. Rooney holds a bachelor’s degree from Roanoke College and a master’s degree in organizational leadership from Gonzaga University.
