Advanced Disposal, an integrated environmental services company, is celebrating Independence Day at all 226 locations with a free service for everyone to properly dispose of their old, worn, torn and faded American flags. People are invited to drop their flags at their local Advanced Disposal location for proper retirement in accordance with the United States Flag Code or to be recycled in a dignified manner by companies specializing in flag recycling.

“We believe everyone deserves to shine on their birthday – especially our country, our flag and the freedom it symbolizes,” said Advanced Disposal CEO Richard Burke. “It’s clear that the communities we service appreciate the U.S. flag retirement service, and we are honored to provide the program through Sept. 11.”

As a reminder, Advanced Disposal’s collection schedule varies in observance of the holiday. Please visit your local Advanced Disposal facility page for your holiday schedule at www.AdvancedDisposal.com/Find-a-Facility.
