Matt Morrell, CPA joins the company as Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis and Michael Taber, CPA joins the company as Director of Accounting

Advanced Disposal, an integrated environmental services company, has announced the hiring of Matt Morrell, CPA as Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis and Michael Taber, CPA as Director of Accounting.
“Both Matt and Michael bring impressive expertise to our finance team,” stated Steve Carn, chief financial officer. “As the company evolves, the need for excellence in the areas of financial planning, analysis, Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) filings, reporting, compliance and leadership is vital to our continued success. These two men bring this talent to the team and will help to ensure the highest quality of financial reporting and analysis.”
Matt joins Advanced Disposal from Acosta Sales & Marketing where he directed the company’s accounting and reporting functions. In addition, his experience includes mergers & acquisitions, SEC filings, technology integration, process improvements, budgeting & planning, and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. Matt also worked for McKesson (formerly PSS World Medical) as a divisional controller and with KPMG’s audit practice as a senior manager. Matt is a certified public accountant and received his master of business administration and bachelors degrees from the University of Florida.
Advanced Disposal is also pleased to welcome Michael Taber. Michael joins Advanced Disposal from KPMG where he served as a senior manager and provided audit and consulting services to a variety of private and publicly-traded companies. His areas of expertise include audits of financial statements and internal controls, SEC reporting, budgeting & planning, and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. Prior to KPMG, Michael worked as a senior audit associate for McGladrey and Pullen. Michael is a certified public accountant and obtained his master of business administration and bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of North Florida.
