Curbside garbage service
- Pickup once per week.
- Place your garbage cans curbside by 7:00 a.m. of your scheduled garbage collection day.
- Use waste cans with handles and tight-fitting lids and/or sealed plastic bags for garbage.
- Only containerized garbage will be collected with lids completely closed.
- Place garbage within 4 feet of the curb on scheduled collection day.
- No pickup holidays include: New Year's Day, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Independence Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas Day. For the week of the listed holidays, collection will be one day following the normally scheduled collection day for all days of that week, beginning with the holiday.
Curbside yard waste services
- Pickup once per week.
- Acceptable items include grass clippings, leaves and shrub trimmings.
- Weekly collection is limited to 5 cubic yards (4’ x 4’ x 8’) or the equivalent of 30 full bags.
- Containerize yard waste in sealed 35 gallon bags or in cans with secure lids.
- Each container must not weigh more than 40 pounds.
- Limbs and branches must not exceed 5 feet in length and 6 inches in diameter or be more than 40 pounds in weight.
Curbside recycling service
- Pickup once per week.
- Acceptable items for BLUE recycling bin include: glass and plastic bottles and jars no more than 2 gallons in size, aluminum and metal cans.
- Acceptable items for ORANGE recycling bin include: newspapers, magazines, catalogs, telephone books, corrugated cardboard and brown paper bags. Corrugated cardboard must be flattened and no bigger than 3 feet by 3 feet and may be placed under or beside orange recycling bin.
- Excess recyclables may be placed in paper bags or containers comparable to recycling bins.
