Sandersville 

Curbside garbage service

  • Pickup once per week in Green or Grey 95 gallon cart marked Advanced Disposal or AWS.
  • Place your garage cans curbside by 6:00 a.m. (or the night before) of your scheduled garbage collection day.
  • The cart should be at least 3 feet away from your mailbox and other objects at the curb.
  • Waste is defined as all kitchen and food waste, and all animal or vegetable waste that is attendant with or results from the storage, preparation, cooking or handling of food materials.
  • No-pickup holidays: New Year’s Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas. Advanced Disposal will provide service one (1) day later than your normal collection day.

Curbside bulk item service

  • Advanced Disposal will collect bulk items on Wednesdays. 
  • For inquiries contact Sandersville City Hall at (478) 552-2525 to make arrangements for white goods and bulk items collection.

  • Advanced Disposal will not collect tires or construction debris, (concrete, wood carpet, etc).
