CURBSIDE GARBAGE SERVICE
Pickup twice per week in provided 95-gallon cart.
Place your cart curbside prior to 6:00 a.m. of your scheduled garbage collection day.
Bulky items that do not fit inside cart will be collected Wednesday.
Garbage is defined as accumulation of waste (animal, vegetable and/or other matter) that results from the
preparation, processing, consumption, dealing in, handling, packing, canning, storage, transportation, decay or
decomposition of meats, fish, birds, fruits, grains or other animal or vegetable matter (including, but not by way of limitation,
used tin cans and other food containers) and all putrescible or easily decomposable animal or vegetable waste matter that is
likely to attract flies or rodents.
CURBSIDE RECYCLING SERVICE
Pickup once per week in provided 64-gallon cart.
Place your cart curbside by 6:00 a.m. of your scheduled collection day.
Acceptable recyclables include newspaper, phone books, brown paper bags, cardboard cut into 2' x 3' pieces,
plastic bottles, aluminum and tin cans, and glass bottles.
Do not place any recyclable material outside of cart. It will not be collected.
CURBSIDE YARD WASTE SERVICE
Pickup once per week.
Place your items curbside prior to 6:00 a.m. of your scheduled collection day.
Horticultural materials should be placed at the curb for pickup.
Landscape maintenance contractors and tree removal contractors are to transport and dispose of generated yard
waste from customer locations.
Yard waste is defined as all shrubbery cuttings or clippings, leaves, palm fronds, small tree branches, bushes or
shrubs, or other organic matter generated as refuse from improved residential properties in the care of lawns, gardens,
hedges, bushes and trees.
Residents should bag, containerize or bundle tree trimmings, leaves and palm fronds, not to exceed 4' in
length and 4" in diameter or any one item exceeding 50 lbs.
Dirt, soil and sod removed in the renovation or rebuilding or lawns and turfs are not included in this definition.
Large branches, trees or bulky noncombustible materials not susceptible to normal loading and collection in “load
packer” type sanitation equipment used for regular collections from domestic households are not included in this definition.
Yard debris pile not to exceed 3 cubic yards.
