Advanced Disposal Services, Inc., a regional integrated environmental services company, was recently awarded the Auburn University solid waste collection contract. Auburn University selected Advanced Disposal following a competitive bid process where proposals were reviewed from three collection companies.
The contract includes the collection and removal of non-hazardous solid waste and inert waste from Auburn University campus. Collection for the university’s home football games is also included in the contract. The official start date of the contract is June 1.
“This is a huge win for us at Advanced Disposal,” said Alabama and Gulf Coast Area President, George Sides. “This contract is especially important since we have several Auburn alumni who wanted nothing more than to service their alma mater. We look forward to beginning what we hope will be a longstanding partnership with this fine university.”
