Advanced Disposal Services, Inc, a regional integrated environmental services company, will begin servicing about 780 Georgiana residents on April 1. Residents will receive new 96-gallon carts beginning Monday.

Georgiana selected Advanced Disposal after a competitive bid process in which two private haulers submitted proposals to provide solid waste collection. With Advanced Disposal, residents will receive once-per-week curbside collection on either Tuesday or Wednesday. Cart hangers, detailing service guidelines and collection schedule, will be delivered along with the new garbage carts.

“We look forward to serving our new customers in Georgiana,” said Dave Lavender, regional vice president for Advanced Disposal. “Residents can be assured they will receive the most responsive and environmentally responsible solid waste services possible.”

Residents are encouraged to call Advanced Disposal’s Montgomery hauling company at (334) 252-0458 with any questions.
