Residents to Receive Additional 18-Gallon Recycling Bin During the Week of September 24 - 28
St. Augustine, Fla.
Advanced Disposal Services, Inc., a regional integrated environmental services company, along with the City of St. Augustine, announce their Cleaner & Greener St. Augustine campaign with the joint goal of increasing the amount of recyclable items collected from residents.
Advanced Disposal collects a total of 25 different items as part of residents’ curbside recycling program. Now that residents can recycle more items, Advanced Disposal will provide a second 18-gallon recycling bin delivered to every home at no charge during the week of Sept. 24 – 28. The additional bin means a total of 32 gallons of recyclable storage per home. Recycling service is single-stream recycling, so there is no sorting required by the residents.
“We encourage all St. Augustine residents to take advantage of the expanded program and help keep the city clean and green for the next 450 years,” said Advanced Disposal Chief Marketing Officer Mary O’Brien. “This comes at no additional cost to the city or its residents and will ultimately make our community cleaner and greener for years to come.”
