Advanced Disposal Acquires RW Edwards Solid Waste Division, Expanding Tennessee Footprint
Advanced Disposal, an integrated environmental services company, has completed the acquisition of certain assets of RW Edwards Equipment Company, further expanding the company’s Tennessee footprint.
The purchase of RW Edwards includes six trucks, more than 400 commercial customers in the Bristol area, including contracts and containers. Advanced Disposal will service those customers from the company’s Eco Safe Landfill in Blountville.
“RW Edwards presented a great opportunity to begin Advanced Disposal hauling operations in the tri-cities due to its reputation for quality collection services and customer care,” said Advanced Disposal’s Regional Vice President Dave Lavender. “Customers can be assured they will continue to receive the most responsive and environmentally responsible solid waste services possible with Advanced Disposal as their service provider. We also look forward to adding six drivers, two office staff and one sales representative from the RW Edwards organization to the Advanced Disposal team.”
