Advanced Disposal, an integrated environmental services company, is pleased to welcome Jennefer Klennert as municipal marketing and government affairs manager. In her new role, Klennert will be working throughout Minnesota and Northwestern Wisconsin to position Advanced Disposal as a preferred provider of solid waste and recycling services. She will focus on building the region’s residential subscription customer base as well municipal residential collection businesses with an emphasis on building and maintaining relationships with elected officials and staff.

“The cities and counties we service in Minnesota are in good hands with Jennefer,” said Jay Rooney, Advanced Disposal Regional Vice President.  “Her knowledge of our industry and central focus on customer satisfaction make her a wonderful addition to our marketing team.”

Klennert most recently worked with Schaefer Systems International as the Midwest regional manager in the waste technology division, where she established and maintained relationships with distributors while working directly with cities, counties and private haulers. She has also held positions with Waste Management and Rotonics Manufacturing Inc.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in natural resources environmental studies with a concentration in waste management from the University of Minnesota in St. Paul, Minn. She also holds a master’s degree in technical communication from Metropolitan State University in St. Paul, Minn. and a solid waste certificate from the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, Minn.
