Advanced Disposal, an integrated environmental services company, is pleased to welcome John Taddonio as municipal marketing and government affairs manager. In the role, Taddonio will be working throughout Southeast Michigan and Northern Indiana to position Advanced Disposal as a preferred provider of solid waste and recycling services. He will focus on building and maintaining relationships with elected officials and staff while ensuring Advanced Disposal provides exceptional service to the cities and counties we are proud to serve.

“With more than 35 years of industry experience, John has worn nearly every hat possible in our industry,” said Dave Lavender, Advanced Disposal regional vice president.  “He combines an entrepreneurial spirit with a commitment to customer service, which makes him well suited for our team.      

Taddonio most recently worked with Casella Waste Systems as area manager, where he worked to turn the tide for the poorest performing area.   He has also held positions with Allied Waste Services and served as president and COO of Environmental Field Services, National and owned his own environmental industry recruitment firm.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Western Michigan University.
