Advanced Disposal Will Retire Old Flags with Honor for Free
at All 226 Locations
PONTE VEDRA, Fla.
Advanced Disposal, an integrated environmental services company, reminds all residents and businesses this Flag Day about the free service to properly dispose of their old, worn, torn and faded American flags. All 226 Advanced Disposal locations will collect old American flags through Sept. 11 and properly retire them in accordance with the United States Flag Code or recycle them in a dignified manner by companies specializing in flag recycling.
“Flag Day commemorates the adoption of our flag in 1777, and many will mark the important day by flying Old Glory proud,” said Advanced Disposal CEO Richard Burke. “We want the communities we serve to know that if their flag needs to be retired, they can simply bring it to their local Advanced Disposal facility, and it will be our honor to properly retire it.”
