Advanced Disposal, an integrated environmental services company, is pleased to announce the winners of the 2016 SALC (Scholastics, Athletics, Leadership, Character) Scholarships. Graduated seniors Meg Barnhorst and William O’Hara are the recipients of the $2,500 scholarships for 2016.

Each year, a Ponte Vedra High School review committee selects one male and one female student from the graduating senior class to receive these scholarships. The students in the running were exceptionally well-rounded and excel in many areas. Advanced Disposal is proud to support both Barnhorst and O’Hara, who have shown extraordinary talents in their scholastics as well as athletics, leadership and character.

“Advanced Disposal’s mission is to be ‘Driven to Deliver’ for our customers, team members and the communities we serve,” commented Advanced Disposal CEO, Richard Burke. “We are confident Ms. Barnhorst and Mr. O’Hara will continue to deliver personally and professionally in the future and we wish them the very best.”

Barnhorst will be attending Georgetown University in Washington, DC and O’Hara will be attending the University of Notre Dame in Indiana this fall.
